Great post.

Fight back: Line up a series
of clips/quotes of Bush et al
blathering about WMD and
mushroom clouds...swift kick
to the nutsack, I say.

Archers

Over 96% of all senators and congressmen accept bribes-$cash$ from AIPAC.Even if the democrats win both houses--nothing will change. The invasion of Iraq was ALWAYS in the sights of both parties.
As England France and USA in both WWI WWII--these thugs--controlled the oil market and thereby the world. As now,if USA Brits can occupy Iraq, Iran--the taps of oil will turn off to China as it did to Japan, Germany.
But-the sin off gains are--Israel dominience and the Jewish control of the world. Seems they just don't give up,even when they got enough!

Hello Peter,

Thanks for the comment. It would be interesting to compile all of the quotes of Bush Administration officials BS-ing about WMDs etc. Not sure if I have the time though! How about you put something together! :)

Anyway, take care,
Ron

Archer,

Thanks for stopping by to read.

I am aware that Israel and Israel as a U.S. tool has an enormous influence over U.S. policy. I am even aware that Israelis have apparently blackmailed U.S. politicians. However, I am hardly ready to chalk this up to Jewish control of the world. That's racist claptrap. Israeli interests, particularly regarding the Middle East and the petroleum power there, presently correspond with the interests of dominant elites in the U.S. And pro-Israeli politicians and lobbyists are willing to go to great lengths to manipulate and coerce those U.S. politicians who diverge from virulently pro-Israel positions.

If I misunderstood your point, please don't hesitate to comment again.

Take care,
Ron

This is NOT to be taken as an
open ended endorsement of the
Dems. In fact, less they
renounce their support for this illegal war and the god-awful patriot acts, then
they should be turned out of
office. Period.

Unfortunately, every time Dean acts as a leader and
denounces the conflict, he's shouted down by a goodly portion of his own
party.

Most Americans (some 60%)
are currently un-represented by either
party on the war! We want
out!

Ron, I'll see what I can do!

Hello again Peter,

We shouldn't be surprised that so many of us are unrepresented. That's the reality of really-existing democracy. It purports to be a system of the people, whereas, universally in practice, it is a sophisticated system of elite control. That is, the reality is different than the advertizing. No real surprise there. That's why George Bush can pat himself on the back for bringing democracy to the Middle East. He has brought democracy to the Middle East! Of course it is even a worse version: Third World Democracy! Is it an approvement? Yes, but only for western power and elite control. And the perpetuation of countless illusions.

Jeffersonian democracy would be called communism - which, in a sense, is true! True communism is true democracy. One of the ironies of this world.

Later,
Ron

I am a staunch Democrat who has opposed this war from day one. However, as the earlier post regarding AIPAC/Israeli politician buying and other agregious govenment corruptions stated, nothing will change until the whole show can be cleaned up; stem to stern.

As a twist on what the Joker said in the 1989 film adaptation of 'Batman': "This government needs an enema!"

To wit, I give you the following:

Hillary 2008 - The Year Of The Lizard

EXCERPT:

So stay tuned, my friends.

The drama will continue after a short intermission to rid the stage of "played out" actors. George W is about the shape shift into Hillary Clinton.

And, just when you thought things couldn't get worse, welcome to the era of "touchy-feely" fascism.

According to Indictment, AIPAC Has Been Under Investigation Since Early 1999

And during all that time, members of Congress continued to accept money from them.

As someone, (I forget who) said "Why are our elected "leaders" having a hard time distinguishing whats ours (America's) and what's their (Israel's) interests"?
